Over the years I’ve struggled with characteristic trait to passionately dive into new hobbies, and then just as quickly jolting from the frigid waters of hobbies, leaving them, abandoned at the bottom of the forgotten hobby lake. As the shame grew, knowing I could never stick it anything, I eventually reached enlightenment, or ultimate self-deception, and decided to embrace my capricious nature. I am a dabbler. I like to try things. I like researching, giving things my all, having grandiose ideas, and eventually walk away because something new caught my eye, or I realized, I didn’t enjoy it. So, instead of a blog about one thing, I’ll have a blog about all the things I dabble in. Hobbies will range from cooking to kayaking, photography to sewing and everything in-between … or not; I’m also a picking person.
